Flwrpt ist Musiker und Grafiker/Designer aus Brooklyn/New York. Als ein Teil von The Stuyvesants hat er Mitte Jahr zusammen mit Algorythm das grossartige Beattape "Brooklyn's Finest" gedropt. Vor zwei Wochen hat Flwrpt das Mixtape "Thankful" zum Download auf seinen Rechner gehievt. "Thankful" ist eine Ode an die Releases der 90er-Jahre. Flwrpt über "Thankful" und den Hip Hop der 90er:

Thankful gives thanks to the golden era of hip hop music (’90-’99). In my humble opinion, it was this era that solidified hip hop in the world of music…an emcee or group of emcees couldn’t be wack during those times, or their music would NOT have been played. PERIOD.
